Located just 10 minutes from downtown Boise, Eagle is situated between the Boise Foothills and the Boise River, Eagle has an abundance of natural water with both the north and south channels of the Boise running through the city.

Eagle is unique in that there is a 544-acre State Park in the City; Eagle Island State Park is currently getting a facelift with better water flows, trails, waterslide, and picnic areas.

Great skiing is just 40 minutes away at Bogus Basin Ski resort and less than two hours from Tamarack and Brundage Ski resorts; Eagle is an outdoorsman’s dream. The Payette River, home of some of the best white water in the world is just a 30-minute drive north on Highway 55 and the Boise River meanders through town.

Eagle residents enjoy several parks including a world-class bike park with miles of trails through the foothills, a BMX track, Mountain Bike trick park and popular skate park.

Also known for it’s beautiful rural countryside and horse community the equestrian trails are plentiful.
